Just a quick post from me today to share a tag that I found in my picture files. I realized I had never shared it before. I made it for CHA-Winter way back in January.

I used my Frosty Deboss technique on this tag. It is a super easy technique that gives a really cool finish.

I added Distress Stickles to the grungepaper heart to give it lots of sparkle. Biscotti Perfect Pearls give the banner some subtle shimmer.

I adhered the banner only on the ends with Tiny Attacher staples and in the center so that it would have lots of dimension.

I love the look the technique creates and the way that the crackle paint reacts with the ink colors. In my tutorial I used Distress Stain to color my tag, but on this tag I used Distress Ink pads.

After the crackle was dry, I added darker brown ink to the edges and on some of the raised areas. The way it settles into the cracks really accents the crackle and deepens the color.

Thats beautiful!! The heart looks wonderful against the texture of the tag.
Love this texture and sheen! That wood texture fade is my favorite! beautiful tag Tammy!
This is just absolutely adorable! Love it and have to try making one…well they are soo cute will probably end up with a bunch. Thanx so much for sharing.
I loved this tag so much, I clicked on your tutorial to see how it was done … I was blown away by that snowflake tag! Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing!
I just bought the embossing folder to make this tag-I loved it the first time you showed it.This is perfect timing-now I don’t have to search for the tutorial.
Love the tag, Tammy!!! Seeing how much you use alphabet stamps inspired me to get mine out when I was making a simple card last week to send to our son at camp. It’s on my blog and I even linked to you for the alpha stamps inspiration!!
I love anything you make. Your work is just my cup of tea. I have been using the Hero Arts Stamps (LC) since you introduced me to it. Now I have to get the UC and the playful set. You are just so blessed to have the gift of inspiring others. Love you!
