I am back again today with another quick card to share. This card is so seriously quick to make. It makes great use of scraps of pattern paper too.
Begin by cutting a card base from cardstock that measures about 4 1/2″ wide by 9″ long. Fold the strip in half so that you have a 4 1/2″ square card. Cut four 2″ squares of pattern paper. Use an ink blending tool to apply Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the edges of the card and all four squares. Adhere the squares to the front of the card, leaving a slight border between each square. If desired, add machine stitching around the inside of each square.
Die cut three snowflakes from mirrored sheets using the Tim Holtz Mini Snowflakes die. Adhere the snowflakes to the front of the card.
Ink the edges of a Chit Chat sticker. Adhere the sticker to a piece of Tissue Wrap. Tear the tissue so that it is slightly larger than the sticker on each side. Ink the edges of the tissue. Adhere the assembled piece to the front of the card. Machine stitch through the ends of the sticker if desired as an accent.
That’s it! A super quick and easy formula to follow for a card for any season or time of the year!
