Happy Sunday friends! Today I have a super quick tag project to share with you. This tag would be perfect to add to packages or stockings and could easily be personalized with alphabet stamps. Best of all, you can make this tag from start to finish in 30 minutes or less.
Begin by using an ink blending tool to apply Festive Berries Distress Ink to the top and upper sides of your tag. Apply Pine Needles Distress Ink along the bottom and lower sides of the tag using an ink blending tool. Leave the center of the tag fairly ink free so that it will have a light glow. Mist water onto your hand and flick it onto the tag to create water spots in the ink. Use a dry cloth to blot the excess water. Dry the tag using a heat tool. Use an ink blending tool to apply Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the edges of the tag.

Stamp the candy cane image onto the inked tag using Jet Black Archival Ink. Use an ink blending tool to apply Pine Needles Distress Ink to a piece of Crinkle Ribbon. Tie the ribbon around the tag. Tie a simple knot in the ribbon over the stamped candy cane image. Stamp the candy cane image two times on manila cardstock. Color the candy cane and bow on one image and the top part of the bow on the second. Cut both images out using scissors. Use an ink blending tool to apply Vintage Photo Distress Ink to the edges of the two pieces. Adhere the top part of the bow to the larger candy cane stamped piece. Adhere the assembled candy cane to the front of the tag using adhesive foam squares lining it up to the stamped candy cane image on the tag. Make sure that you don’t add foam squares to the area under the stamped bow that will overlap onto the Crinkle Ribbon bow.
So there you have it, super quick and super simple! I will be back again tomorrow with another quick tag idea using this same stamp set. I hope to see you then!
