Happy Thursday! I am checking in today with another edition of Crafty #TBT (Throw Back Thursday)! I like to play along with this popular online #hashtag game by digging into my project archives and sharing a past project or tutorial. If you have followed along with my blog for a while you may remember these projects. If you are new here, I hope you will find inspiration and enjoy seeing something new to you! Today’s tutorial was originally posted in November of 2012
This week I found myself thinking a lot about gratitude and being thankful. I am blessed with an amazing job. I get to make art for a living, I have amazing and healthy kids and a husband that still makes my heart flutter after 14 years. I am thankful too for my faithful companion Cracker Jack who never fails to greet me with a wag and a kiss.
All of this thinking about being thankful made me remember this tag. This tag is one of my all time favorites! I still have it displayed in my studio. It is one that is so stunning in person. I wish you could all see it up close! It is one of those that you discover little bits of magic when you look closer and move it about in the light. The really cool thing about it is that it is really pretty easy to create.
It features the Frosty Deboss technique I created back in 2012. I have always planned to come back and create this same tag for each season. I can’t believe it is already almost 2 years later and that I still have not done that! I need to bump that up on my to-do list!
In the mean time, check out the tutorial for the Thankful tag here: Tutorial- Thankful Art Tag.
Don’t forget, you can always see all of the tutorials I have posted in the blog tutorial gallery: Tammy Tutterow blog tutorials.
