Happy Thursday! On Thursdays I like to do a little thing I call Crafty Throw Back Thursday where I take a look back at a past project or tutorial. It is a great way for you to see some older tutorials you may have missed or revisit one you may have forgotten about. This week, I am throwing it back to June 2013.
It is hard to decide what I love most about this tag, is it the vivid colors or the really cool translucent leaves? Maybe it is even pulling something like micro beads that have been unused in my stash for years and putting them to use again. What ever it is, this tag remains one of my very favorites of all times.
The tutorial will show you how I created the clear enameled leaves using Tissue Wrap and UTEE. It will also show how I created the background. It has some fun ideas in it that you can use on tons of other projects!
You can find the full tutorial here: Tissue Wrap Jeweled Leaves.
Remember, you can always find a full directory of my previous blog tutorials here: Tammy Tutterow blog tutorials. (By the way, I made a really nice change to the tutorial directory recently… I made all of the thumbnail images even larger so you can get a better look at the tutorials listed there! I hope it makes it an even handier resource than before! I am slowly working my way through the other categories listed at the very top of the blog to make those images larger too!)
