I have been on a little mini blog vacation while working on a huge, HUGE project.
Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith to have a chance at a really grand adventure. I recently had the opportunity to take a very big leap and take a chance to tackle something that was one my “someday, maybe” list. Sometimes taking that leap means letting go of things you love that felt pretty perfect. In my case, those things I let go are my two jobs working for Ranger Ink and Tim Holtz. I have loved every minute of both jobs and letting them go was a bittersweet moment. But sometimes when you let go and leap you land on something pretty amazing.
What is the leap I took? I am thrilled to tell you that in 2016 you will be able to create art using products I have designed. I still feel a bit of disbelief in saying it! My own products, can you believe it?
So while I have been away on a mini blog vacation, I have drawn and designed my heart out! The line will launch in January at CHA so there is a bit of a wait. I will have more details to share and some sneak peeks later this fall. I wanted to keep it a secret a bit longer, but seriously, I have been about to burst!
You may wonder what you will see here in the meantime. I will still use and share projects using the products I love and I will still have tutorials and online classes. The difference will be that this blog, my teaching, and my brand are now my full-time job, which means more time to blog and create and share!
Thanks for letting me share this news with you! I can’t wait to tell you more!
