I recently lettered a poem as a gift for my daughter Anna’s birthday. She found and fell in love with the poem not long after she graduated college and prepared to move several hours away on a brand new adventure. The poem spoke to her about taking big leaps of courage. I promised her that I would letter it for her so she could hang it in her apartment. It took me a while, but I finally did a version that I loved.
Thankfully Anna loved it too! I absolutely love the final version. It is pretty while being fun and whimsical at the same time. (Please note, this colored version is my original draft. The coloring page version above is slightly different and shown in the black and white version above.)

PS. For those of you who wondered what paper and printer I use so that I can color with Copics- I print using a Canon imageCLASS LBP6230dw Wireless Laser Printer. It is a black only laser printer that does a great job and can be purchased for under $100. I print on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest #80 Cardstock. (Amazon links)
