Happy Friday Friends! Five For Friday is all about sharing 5 links to creative inspiration that you need to check out before you get your crafty groove on for the weekend.
This week I am in Phoenix, Az for the Craft & Hobby Association Creativation Trade Show. I will be doing make & takes and spending time in the Spellbinders booth. We are featuring my November release as well as a new collection available in February. Every year I say I will blog from the show and every year I end up so busy that it doesn’t happen. So I am not going to promise it this year, but I am going to try really hard. What I will do for sure is to post on Instagram and Facebook. I plan on trying my hand at a few Facebook live videos. (Don’t worry if you can’t tune in live, the videos will stay on my page.) Spellbinders will also be sharing videos and photos from the show so be sure to follow along with them on their blog and social media too. (Find all of their links on their blog- Spellbinders blog.)
I made all new samples, TONS of samples for both collections. I have so many things to show you and hopefully inspire you with. I will tackle all that when I get back. Until then, please check out this week’s round up of amazingnesss from my super talented team.
Cathie Cowles: Valentine’s Day will be here soon! Thankfully Cathie has super cute Valentines to share and spark some inspiration for you! Find out what she used to create these lovelies on her blog: Shabby Valentines.
Terri Kolte: Terri’s projects are always so fun! I just imagine her having the happiest of times snipping and glueing a bit of this and a bit of that. It is perfect I think that she used the Happy Day stamp! Check out the details of her latest collage on her blog: Have a Happy Day.
Lin Brandyberry: I have a mad and serious love for posies, gingham, and buttons. I simply adore the way she used the Posie Parts stamp and die set to create this sweet card. Get a closer look on Lin’s blog: Posie Parts Card.
Mindy Baxter: Seriously, when I see what Mindy has colored each week, I swoon a little (or a lot!). I want to color with my Copics as good as her! Thankfully, she shares how she does the coloring magic that she does on her blog with really great tutorials. Check out how she used flicking to color the Happy Gram stamp on her blog: Copic Marker Flicking.
Kathy Clement: Earlier this week I shared a tutorial for how to assemble the new Paper Bag Envelope. I love how versatile that envelope is, so great for cards, tags, pages, and books. Speaking of books, you are going to love how Kathy used the envelope as pages for this amazing mini book. Check out her blog post to see all the amazing details: Winter Hues Mini Album.
I am so inspired by this team! Please take a few moments to check out each of their blogs for these projects and more. And please be sure to give the ladies lots of comment love!
