Happy Friday Friends! Five For Friday is all about sharing 5 links to creative inspiration that you need to check out before you get your crafty groove on for the weekend.
I just can not tell you how thrilling it is for me to see what others create with my stamps, dies, and stencils. As a product designer, I often draw a stamp with a certain color story in mind or envision a die working one way.
That is what is so fun about having a creative team, they each see the products in their own way and tell their own story with the stamps, dies, and stencils. Magically, the story they tell is different from mine. That is why I love sharing their work here with all of you.
I think it is important to share different interpretations and ideas for the products. This team of ladies is so incredibly talented and diverse. They see new uses and combinations that I would never imagine. I find myself so inspired by what they create and share and I hope you do too!
Cathie Cowles: How fun is this card? I love the colors Cathie chose, they are just so fun and happy! This card FEELS like a party! This card features the new Party Stamp & Die set, Sentiments 1 Stamp & Die set, and the Polka Party stencil. Find more details on Cathie’s blog: Party Card.
Kathy Clement: Did you know you can cut felt with thin dies? Most people think thin dies only work on paper but they actually are awesome on felt. Kathy created this fun fall decor that features the new Fall For You stamp along with tons of felt flowers (Frayed, Pom Pom, and NEW Bitty Posies). Find all the details on her blog: Fall Burlap and Felt Banner.
Lin Brandyberry: True story, this card from Lin took my breath away. I have a MAD LOVE for the new Nothing But Love background stamp. I really wanted to offer it also as an embossing folder but wasn’t able to. Lin’s card is genius because by using tone on tone stamping with embossing powder she created a look similar to an embossing folder with the added bonus of having an a resist. It is simply beautiful! She used the Nothing But Love stamp, Prim Hearts die, and Sentiments 2 Stamp & Die set. Find out more about Lin’s card on her blog: Love For You Card.
Terri Kolte: This sweet card makes my heart smile. There is just something so sweet and sentimental about the look of it. I love that demonstrates how interactive the different products in this collection are. Terri combined Bitty Posies with a Prim Heart and Sentiments 2 Stamp & Die set. Get more views of this sweet card on Terri’s blog: Sweet Heart Card.
Vicki Chrisman: This sweet treat box is a smile inducer! Vicki embellished a wooden box with the Fall For You stamp along with fun papers and trims. She dressed up the inside lid too and included a sweet treat inside! I love this idea because it works as a card and gift in one. The recipient can set it out and enjoy it over and over!
