Happy Saturday! Here in St. Louis the air has turned cooler and there is a breeze. I am happy to have my studio windows open while crafting and drawing. I am excited to trade my shorts soon for jeans and sweatshirts! Today I have a card to share that features my new fall themed stamp “Fall for You”.
This card is a super simple card to create. The base is a cream cardstock card. I second layer features stenciled leaves on white cardstock using my Leafage Two Step Stencil with Distress Ink. I love that the leaf in the stencil is a basic shape that can be used for leaves of different seasons by simply changing the color.
I cut the stenciled paper into a strip. I cut a layer of vellum to match and layered it over the stenciled paper. I added machine stitching to adhere the two together.
I added a simple strip of ribbon with a bow on top of the vellum layer.
The top focal layer is white cardstock with the stamped image colored with Copic markers.
I really love this stamp! It is such a playful and happy sentiment! It makes me smile every time I stamp and color it. I hope you love it as much as I do!
