Happy Grams are all about creating art that makes you smile. The stamps are all about images and words that bring a smile or bit of encouragement to your day. And this little cutie is a total smile inducer and is a new stamp in my Happy Grams 3 collection with Spellbinders.
When I got the opportunity to design stencils I knew right away that I was going to create a stencil that would enable everyone to make their own gingham backgrounds. You see, I am a HUGE gingham fan. I think I have bought every gingham scrapbook paper made. Even with a big stash, I never seem to have just the color I want to match my stamped image. Being able to use my ink to make my own gingham background is such a crafty dream come true.
I have fallen in love with quick and easy cards that let the thought and sentiment really shine. My favorite formula is a bit of gingham, a few posies, and a fun sentiment. Oh, and a bit of sewing, I can’t forget the stitching!
I did something a little outside my box yesterday and although it was tough learning something new I feel awfully proud. Over the years, I have done a ton of tutorials and that has always meant taking, editing, and posting tons of photos. Lots of readers have asked me to consider doing video tutorials. I have done a few videos here and there but it has never been my comfort zone.
Hello friends, happy Thursday! I am so happy to report that my computer is back home and working great again. That means I can edit and share the pictures of the new projects I promised. First up today, a quick and easy card featuring my new Things I Love stamp.
