I love the little project I have to share with you today! It is quick and easy, which is a big plus, but more important, it is super versatile! You could use it as a card or as a mini book. It combines my Mini File Folder and Waterfall dies to create a mini book or card that has lots of space for photos and sentiments!
This week I got a chance to take a break from drawing and editing new stamps and get my hands painty and inky. It has been a while and it felt so good! As a contributor to the StencilGirl Products blog, I had the opportunity to create a project featuring a mash-up of StencilGirl stencils and products from Canvas Corp. Brands (Tattered Angels, Canvas Corp, and 7gypsies). The step-by-step tutorial for my mixed media journal is live today on the StencilGirl blog.
I shared in earlier posts how I found a very tattered and shabby worn quilt a few months ago. I used bits and pieces of that quilt in several projects, using every last scrap of it. Today I am sharing a mini book that features the quilt on the cover. It is such a compliment to the theme and embellishments. I love this book madly. So much so, I am thinking I need to break down the full assembly into a tutorial soon. Until then, I hope you will enjoy this quick tour.
