I am seriously addicted to all things embroidery and wool appliqué now. As you may have seen, I am now licensing my art to Adornit for embroidery patterns (coming later this year). Last month at Quilt Market the folks at Sulky gave me some sheets of their Stick ‘n Stitch dissolvable embroidery stabilizer to try. You can run them through the printer so they are ideal for me as a designer to test designs.
I shared in earlier posts how I found a very tattered and shabby worn quilt a few months ago. I used bits and pieces of that quilt in several projects, using every last scrap of it. Today I am sharing a mini book that features the quilt on the cover. It is such a compliment to the theme and embellishments. I love this book madly. So much so, I am thinking I need to break down the full assembly into a tutorial soon. Until then, I hope you will enjoy this quick tour.

What is it they say about the best laid plans? They just never seem to go as I envision them, for sure. Two weeks ago I headed to Phoenix to the annual Craft and Hobby Association (now AFCI- Association for Creative Industries).
